I'll give the GOP credit for one thing-- They didn't make Newt a frontrunner |
|
Sure the others are not exactly the cream of the crop.
But Newt is so oily, smary, annoying, ultra-divisive etc. that he is too much even for the GOP to take seriously.

with everyone. Democrats hate him, establishment Republicans hate him, Independents hate him, and the tea partiers probably think he is irrelevant or are too stupid to even know who he is.
He really thought he was some pretty tough shit back in the day, an important player, an historically consequential figure, he really drinks his own Kool-Aid. In the end he was a bit figure that Bill Clinton played like a fiddle to become the first Democrat since FDR to be reelected.
It's almost sad to watch the colossal failure of his campaign limp on. Why doesn't he drop out already?

5. "...drinks his own Kool-Aid." (!) |

Well put, tritsofme.
If the Rethugs actually correlated their feces and nominated someone like Jon Huntsman as their candidate, the Democrats would be up the fecal stream without a means of conveyance. \
