A question that i can't figure out about the republican debate
Edited on Fri Aug-12-11 03:19 AM by vercetti2021
What the hell did i watch? I don't know if it was a psycho rally or children fighting over who gets the last piece of cake.

I don't see how any of these people can become president to be honest.

Bachmann is crazy, Romney is stupidly clueless , Cain is racist against everyone it seems, Paul is a old crazy fart, Santorum...Well yeah the name says it alone but crazy enough to compare something to a napkin, Newty...WTF are you doing you crazy old lady, Huntsman...You have a company overseas to avoid the EPA, wtf are you hiding?, Pawlenty just go away you sucked as a governor, and Perry, even if you weren't there tonight, you won't win because you are a big ass embarrassment to our state and you are dubya 2.0.

Yeah...What the hell did i watch? Better yet what the hell did all of us watch?

2. Thanks for letting me know I didn't miss anything by watching stuff from the DVR.
The S.O. wouldn't have put up with for long, anyway.

Cuckoo, Batshit crazy, and insane. Seriously, Pawlenty is the best they've got, and he can't win because he's not photogenic - face like a ferret, with beady eyes.

Face it, they're screwn.

3. Lol @ Gingrich...
Every question was a "gotcha" question for him apparently.

Looks like he had to stay up past his bedtime to attend this debate.

5. Hey now, you HAVE to admire how he has mastered the Hugh Hefner "lean on the bar (podium)" pose.

13. I noticed that.
He clearly had practiced his mannerisms prior to the debate. The occasional turn, the gestures. It looked like he had scripted his body language. When he wasn't ranting about how he was being asked gotcha questions by the Fox "News" cast...lol... he seemed a bit too smug.

4. Huntsman was asked to explain/justify the fact that 10k of his company's 12k workforce are in Asia
His response (I shit you not) was that the EPA's "reign of terror" in regulations prevented him from opening factories here.

Now, I don't even know what in the hell he produces, but if he went off shore to avoid the EPA (and OSHA and who knows what all else he didn't call out), I'm pretty sure I don't want a part of it.

Noting: He was the Obama Admin Embassador to China until he quit his post to run...

Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman declared in tonight’s Republican Presidential Debate in Iowa that “the EPA’s reign of terror” must be brought to an end. He made that point in those words twice.

11. Thanks for your take on this. I didn't watch.
For one thing, I wasn't home, and I have no idea what channel FIXED News is on around here. I try to watch things like the conventions, as much as I can take so I'll be informed, but I think that watching this band of lunatics trying to outdo each other would have been too much for me. Thanks for taking one for the team and letting us know... :hi:

14. Bachmann looked like she wanted to chew someone's face off
after a couple of those questions. Didn't look like she was too fond of Pawlenty directing some heat her way either.

18. The reviewer at Daily Kos described it
He described it as like looking in a box of well-dressed ferrets trying to tear each other to ribbons. I understand the League of Well-Dressed Ferrets is lodging a formal complaint against Kos.
