Pretty Offensive FB Repost

I hate those stupid copied and paste political mumbo jumbo things that show up on fb. I use to argue with everyone and then I just gave up, put some people on hide and deleted others.

But this morning I saw this one


"This morning I went to sign my dogs up for welfare. At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare." So I explained to her that my dogs are mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and have no frigging clue who their Daddy's are. They expect me to feed them, provide them with housing and medical care.

So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify.

My dogs get their first checks Friday.

could it be any more offensive. Thank you republican party for getting half the country to believe poor = lazy, rich = hard worker (yeah right) and welfare = dark skinned people stealing your paycheck.

What a bunch of idiots. One of the many reasons that as a CHRISTIAN I could never be part of that greedy ahole party.

Facebook is many things but they are extremely harsh on nudity and racism.

2. I first saw that on another...

political site back in '08, but it said my dog is black...not mixed race. It's disgusting, and I can't believe people are still circulating it. :puke:

3. That is soooo offensive, I don't have words for it. But that really is the view of...

a lot of middle class people. The view of those who don't know anyone who has rec'd assistance.

They also seem to be under the misapprehension that people are receiving money from the govt. That's not true here in TX. If you are an unemployed adult w/o children, you don't qualify to get money. It is only CHILDREN who get money assistance. The most such an adult would get would be food stamps. They might qualify for lower-cost housing, but I'm not sure about that...and the rules are very strict, and there's a long waiting list.

of Mafia wars players when they started in with this kind of crap.



If I'd been smart I could have had some of my friends put them on the "hit list" or start wars with them over and over again. ;)

8. Yeah, I am becoming increasingly upset by the forwards from Christians.

Especially relatives. I wonder if they have read their Bibles lately, in particular the words of Jesus and the apostles who authored the New Testament books that talk about things like love, caring about one another, etc. It's got to where all I want to do is type "Shame on You!" and hit send. Pretty much ignore them lately, since my words fall on deaf ears. Always wonder what Jesus might be thinking about those who claim his name.
