2. here are just some facts for ya:

• His unilateral closed-door budget offer to slash Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, which endangers the New Deal and War on Poverty safety nets.
• His determination to escalate U.S. militarism through illegal secret CIA drone attacks and unauthorized wars.
• His willingness to extend the Bush tax cuts for millionaires and bail out big banks without ending the foreclosure crisis that displaces American working families.
• His insistence on pushing a health insurance bill which enriches private insurance companies while ignoring growing support for single-payer health care or robust public options.
• His continuance of President Bush’s assault on civil liberties with an extension of the repressive Patriot Act.
• His failure to restore due process, including the protection of whistleblowers and habeas corpus.
• His numerous failures to adhere to international law.
• The continuing practice of nationwide FBI raids of anti-war progressive protestors.
• His decision to increase the arrests and deportations of undocumented workers.
• His facilitation of the privatizing of the public sphere, which includes education and housing, among others.
• His disregard of his promises to the Labor movement.
• His failure to adequately protect the environment and adequately address climate change.

5. Thank You
You are spot on by the way

I would add at least one thing:
He should have had all of the bush administration arrested for torture and war crimes
that would have gone a long way to put this country back on the correct track

6. It's hard to explain those points. Plus not investigating Wall Street.
Putting Summers and Geithner in charge.

Obama's attacks on the environment have been very bad - far worse than failure to adequately protect.

He's owned by the corporations. I'm afraid that he's NOT a Republican. I'm afraid that this is the new face of the Democratic Party.

11. State plainly who you are accusing of being a Republican actor.
Guess you want to smear without getting a pizza, real courage there.

Like the 'actor' meme; the latest whiny left canard.

17. when use the word "that", you are denying that "he" is a person
if you want to acknowledge that "he" is a person, you would use the word "who" instead.

i'm not a grammar nazi, i'm only pointing it out because it seems rather relevant to your insult.

by the way, when fdr was president, democrats had a nearly 4-1 majority in the house at one point. at a time when socialist intellectual thought was popular and in its heyday, no less. fdr was fantastic, no doubt, but his job was made easier with huge support from congress and the public. one could argue that he couldn't hardly have gotten away with taking the country in any other direction.

obama, on the other hand, faces a solid and determined opposition that has enough control in congress to stymie nearly anything and also has considerable control over the nation's propaganda networks. not to mention the apparent ability to steal elections (at least close ones) and effectively bribe officeholders at will.

so frankly, i'm not sure that anyone could have done better. i'm not thrilled with the results, but i don't blame obama. i blame the powers that he's up against, and THAT's what i want to fight.

if obama is a compromiser to a fault, then let's make him compromise between liberals and center-leftists, rather than compromising between right-wingers and teabaggers.

The problem is his policies are no longer either plausible or deniable.
