is this a ploy by KKkarl to making everyone like the guy? I can't figure out KKkarls motive here. Is he really a Mitt Romney guy?

1. Rove's "American Crossroads" SuperPAC is very pro-Romney

Rove, accurately, believe that Romney has the best chance in the general election.

2. Well, if the Bushies hate him..then he must not be like Bush, yes?
It would be in Perry's best interests to distance himself from Bush. I think it is a tactic. Even if there exist some ill will between the two - still a tactic.

3. that's what I was thinking
but if they really do hate him then we should see more of KKkarl coming out with something every time Perry says something stupid.

Rove is there even when you don't see him.

If his object is too position a viable republican, then he wants to weed the scary faces out.

But people are funny..and a whole lot of religious fundamentalists that vote republican honestly don't see Mormons as "real" Christians.

Maybe the goal isn't to win in 2012 but rather to position the GOP for 2016? (and to gain seats in Congress on the way to 2016)

6. When have Republican ever told the truth about anything,
especially about election strategies?

No, I don't believe they hate each other at all,
although Bush Sr. seems more moderate.....
but Bush II and PerryBushIII are too much alike for me to believe
the tactical garbage coming out of the Republican camps.

8. Yesterday, Jim Hightower described Perry as GWB without the smarts and the ethics
Jim knows.
