Here's a report on Dallas County's latest heat-related deaths from staff writer Sherry Jacobson:

Two elderly Dallas women became the county's 15th and 16th victims of the ongoing heat wave this week.

Franceal Bryant, 92, was found dead Sunday in her home on Locust Street.

The cause was listed not only as hyperthermia, or extreme heat, but also congestive heart failure, hypertension and advanced age.

The 16th victim, Lula Jewel Williams, 86, died Monday in her home on Avenue G.

The causes were listed as arteriosclerosis, hyperthermia and advanced age.

An additional 19 deaths that may be related to the heat wave are under investigation.
