Anyone watch "Secrets Beneath the Ice" just now on PBS?
Global warming may not only get bad,it could get real bad.

snip from PBS website

Almost three miles of ice buries most of Antarctica, cloaking a continent half again as large as the United States. But when an Antarctic ice shelf the size of Manhattan collapsed in less than a month in 2002, it shocked scientists and raised the alarming possibility that Antarctica may be headed for a meltdown. Even a 10 percent loss of Antarctica's ice would cause catastrophic flooding of coastal cities unlike any seen before in human history.

1. 10% = 20 foot rise, I'd be under water.
I'll have to watch for this show.

2. It may be worse than that.
Using fossil evidence,it may warm more than the predicted 4-5 degrees.
They predicted more carbon dioxide in the air by the end of the next century. This would cause a complete melt of the ice.
