"The Tea Party stands for....
fiscal responsibility and return to a Constitutional gov."

Where do you begin to respond to an idiotic statement like that? Assuming you wanted to bother of course.

I'm seriously interested in answers to the question, "What does the Tea Party stand for?" Do they even know?

1. The tea party began on Jan 21, 2009... they'll end the day Obama leaves office

Their sole reason for being is to remove Obama from office. That's why they didn't exist before he was sworn in, even though all the problems they SAY they care about pre-existed his presidency.... and it is why they'll go away the minute he leaves office.

It's a ruse. It has nothing to do with the debt, or the economy, or anything. It is all about removing what they think is an "illegitimate" President.

2. You have to understand their definition of fiscal responsibility and constitutional government
Fiscal responsibility = I'm envious that someone a lot poorer than me receives what I consider to be a handout, so all government assistance should be banned.

Constitutional government = I'm uncomfortable with a black man in the White House.

3. George W. Bush, but he was so very unpopular they had to rebrand their product
and now they want to serve up Bush's L. Governor, Rick Perry, as a product from a different mould in an entirely different factory.

I'm not buying their barkers bull or any of the Tea Party disassociation from the Republican Party illusions.

The Tea Party stands for.... deception.
