1. Love Hartman in many ways -- but ... |
|
when I was listening yesterday, was shocked to hear him saying that he was
convinced that LBJ actually believed that Castro had JFK killed -- !!!
And even more shocked to that Hartmann didn't know about LBJ's connections to Brown & Root
though he wrote a book suggesting that the Mafia killed JFK -- !!
It's beyond me how someone writes a book on the JFK coup and has so little info on LBJ!!!
Hartmann redeemed himself to some degree by making clear that human rights should be at
least as important as property rights!! And based the argument for universal health care
on that point -- wonderful -- !!

I'm not sure what the relevance of him saying that about LBJ was at the time. Everybody loves a good conspiracy theory. It is pretty old event, and they're not even releasing all the files on JFK for about 75 years.
Personally, it looks like the Secret Service stood down at a high level, letting the presidential limo roll under open windows, allowing another line of sight from the corner, open top limo, no agent on the Grassy Knoll right next to the car. These things are difficult for me to overlook or excuse.

3. Didn't think you'd mind an aside comment .... |

The relevance was simply someone who had called in and was discussing the private
contractors -- and Hartmann went into Halliburton and their adventures with the company
with the asbestos problems -- nothing that they were pretty much bankrupt until Bush took
them into Afghanistan/Iraq!!
The caller then mentioned KBR -- and LBJ giving them the dredging contract in Vietnam --
and Hartmann didn't know that's how they got it.
The caller made reference to the very close relationship between Brown & Root & LBJ --
and Hartmann simply said that he wasn't aware of that connection between B&R and LBJ!
Caller elaborated on the connection -- and then Hartmann introduced the subject of JFK
assassination and his feeling that LBJ actually believed sincerely that Castro had JFK killed!!
It is pretty old event, and they're not even releasing all the files on JFK for about 75 years.
Actually, it isn't an old event -- it's impact is still falling upon us today with the corporate/
fascist takeover of our govenrment/nation.
The only way the RW can rise is by political violence -- and that was the opening coup which took
not only our president but our people's govenrment!
The Tunnheim Panel -- 1992 JFK Classified Records Act saw the classified files --
Former Gov. John Tunnheim announced -- on a History Channel documentary that the panel
unanimous agreed that --
"OSWALD WORKED FOR THE CIA ON HIGH LEVEL ASSIGNMENTS AND PROBABLY ALSO FOR THE FBI" --
As Gov. Tunnheim repeated those words, the TEXT appeared below --
He repeated it twice -- the TEXT appeared twice.
Try to find the program!!
Though I'm sure someone in America recorded it!!
I did but only had the first 3/4's of it - and it is in the final part of the program
where he says this.
Yes -- difficult to understand Hartmann on this one!!! Ouch!!
PS: Of course, journalists at the time immediately asked for Oswald's work records --
W-2 -- Income tax filings -- all denied!!
