...and realize the affects of people in congress who hate him for a number of reasons.
Based off the facts (Obama promise meter, the list etc) I'm willing to give the guy a second chance and work to get him a LESS hateful congress to work with to progress his agenda.
Based off the facts.....Obama on a bad day is still better than Perry or Bachman or a Jeb Bush or a Huntsman on a good day.
Thank you

1. I'll start you off with a K&R. It probably won't hold, though. |
|
I'm with you about giving him a much, much better Congress in 2012.

I'm not sure it'll ever be the same again. All jokes aside I Like my President just fine. I wish he would be a little more assertive but he's dealing with a bunch of bullies in this sand pit he's playing in. I don't fault him for being nice, I wish some of that niceness would rub off on some of the others. I have a feeling that before long something is going to happen to make people realize exactly what he's up against. The deck is stacked against him and those of us that are open minded to his plight is well aware of this. The clock is ticking.

7. What reason can you provide for taking away our rights with his Habeas Corpus |
|
signature. Who influenced that? I can start to forgive him if he reverses that.
Sorry to be a spoiler in this thread.
It is the grand and horrible things he has done.

9. I like Obama, too. But at that level of responsibility, being likable means pretty much nothing. |
|
At that level of government, you have to be nearly immortal. It's not the place for people who can't work wonders.
But I'll still vote for him, even as I live in shitty ol' Texas. Just as I did last time.

Some things that President Obama has done, I'm happy about. A lot of things I'm not happy about. But...living in a recently red state, there's one thing that I do know...total republican rule sucks! It's hard to "look at the big picture" when I'm living with the damage of Scott Walker and his toadies.

11. I think he's up against us. It's, "How can I service rich folks, and keep the base?" |
|
It won't be easy. x(

16. Like any other Republican the only cure for Obama is a hostile Congress that |
|
will drag his ass to the right thing. The "yes men" types that support his wrong headed capitulations and devil's bargains with the TeaPubliKlans to sell our workers, elderly, and poor down the river without a paddle in leaky canoes.
So, I as always will be working to re-elect my Congressman who seems to largely be part of the solution and stood up to the fraudulent debt ceiling deal.
Obama is preferable over the current field of TeaPubliKlans in about the same way Poppy Bush would be favorable over them. Hell, shrub is preferable to most of the present options but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be a disaster as he was and as Mr Obama has largely proven to be.
