Rendell made a good point on Morning Joe (sans Joe and Mika)
and that was that no one on the panel up until that moment (Mike Steele, Jack Jacobs, Richard Haase (Fair and balanced!!)) had stated that people on the Right and some Dems even, had criticized Obama for the Libyan Plan which yielded this result without one American casualty.

All of a sudden, Steele became the Defender of Darfur and wanted to know why we weren't there. As though THAT was the conversation up to that point. Rendell agreed with him, and then got back to the point of this particular discussion. Well done, Eddie!!!

2. most democrats arent that interested in this war
and i am pretty skeptical obama gets a bounce out of it.

it was a war of choice so even if it produced no casualties it is pretty hard to justify, in light of much more important problems that people face in our country.

3. I watched. He did a good job. The MEdia will not give Obama credit for anything.
They countered Rendell with "It's too soon for the champagne corks" "You could have an Islamist dictatorship in a year or two" "It's more difficult than just getting up in the morning and wondering where we can save lives" Same things they said about Egypt.

Ed quoted JFK: "We do things not because they are easy, but because they are hard."

Why does the morning belong to the right wing propagandists?

6. "It's a victory for the President" says Ed and poor Mikey et al almost
sputtered. Didn't want to hear it so Rendell again pointed out that yes...this is a victory for the President and no one has mentioned it. It was a good segment.
