1. Using the term "blood libel" is an issue. That's not toning down the rhetoric.

Palin has a choice. The gracious choice would be to back off from that post --which would require an apology for using an anti-Semitic term even if she claims that prior to today she had no idea that's what it is.

Instead I predict that she'll just whine about the first amendment.
