Irony -- faux noise plays 24/7 at UMC in Tucson

I had a surgery at UMC last week...

The staff and personnel at UMC are brilliant. My surgery was quickly and ably accomplished. They are a great hospital. In fact, they are among the few places in the world who could have done as good a job on Ms. Giffords.

But, when I walked into the the Ambulatory Surgery department to log in, I was met by a huge TV screen blaring Faux-Noise in my face...

Needless to say;

1) That was a horrible image to have to bring into an operation...I was nervous enough already...

2) In light of recent events, promoting the propaganda arm of the right-wing is a lousy thing for the UMC Corporation to be doing...

I will be sending my thoughts on this matter to the president of the corporation.
