Perry Fires Up the Left
I hope this is true; he scares the hell out of me and is way too reminiscent of someone I despise.

Perry Fires Up the Left

Politico notes that the entry of Rick Perry into the presidential race has "done something that neither Barack Obama nor Mitt Romney could do: wake up the left."

"Perry panic has spread from the conference rooms of Washington, D.C., to the coffee shops of Brooklyn, with the realization that the conservative Texan could conceivably become the 45th president of the United States, a wave of alarm centering around Perry's drawling, small-town affect and stands on core cultural issues such as women's rights, gun control, the death penalty, and the separation of church and state."

1. He should fire up the left. Perry is looney. And a liar.
A looney liar is a dangerous combination.

He is more dangerous than Dumbya even.

3. He's the worst yet.
How much worse can republicans get? This religious crap is horrible!

At this point, I disagree with every word said by every republican. Their minds don't work like mine. Their "values" are the opposite of mine. All of their "beliefs" appear totally false to me. I have come to see them as members of some other species.

5. Actually, I think Obama got the left fired up.
Unfortunately, he woke it up against himself.

8. Do you think the Democrats in the Senate would go along with Perry as they have Obama?
Democrats usually form an opposition when a Republican is President and are able to stop most of their bs, but with Obama, Democrats have been leveraged out of the situation which allows Republicans to gain everything they wanted..That is why Bush* did not get to Privatize Social security as he so badly wanted... Under Obama though that is a real threat..

10. This could cause problems for us down the road, too.
If Perry loses the nomination to someone that's more sane (Which is practically anyone) there might be a giant "Dodged a bullet on that one!" attitude that weakens our opposition to whoever wins. It's pretty hard to NOT look sane standing next to Perry.
