IA Rep. Steve King's District. I'm sure we can get some neighbors together with some mules and plows and get it all fixed by the first snow.

1. Heard our dear Steve on Iowa Public Radio this morning decrying
Obama's non-visit to King's flooded district.

He wants Obama to "at least fly over and dip a wing, like Bush did."

He wants FEMA funds, it seems. This man who believes all government programs should be brought to a screeching halt wants the federal government to pour some funds into his district.

Since Rep King and his ilk don't believe in taxes, I can't imagine where he wants these funds to come from?

2. if they use federal funds to fix this, can we take the money from cantors district???
if he would choose to push his concept of cuts for expenditures
surely he should be able to set and example.

and this is for something important like roads
not unimportant but like people

4. That was clearly sarcasm...
"hope they don't try to get any more taxes from me to pay for the rebuilding. I earned my money and/or the dividends on the money I inherited and don't want to see it go to those tax-and-spend rebuilders over there." -
Stereotype of a Koch-roach.

5. You better get all the mules in Iowa!
Wow! What a mess! And it's like that all over the country. If there was ever a time for infrastructure expenditures, now is the time.

Why do I think that the pukes will fight it tooth and nail?

6. King better round up his wealthy supporters to fix it. We don't need government, after all.
:sarcasm:
