I love our President.
I don't always agree with him, I wish he'd do some things differently. But watching him tonight reminds me why I'm so glad we have him.

1. A Presidential moment, channel Lincoln, FDR, and MLK and come up big when
coming up with meaningful prose matters. Like some have written already, I am proud the President Obama is our President.

5. He was great!. . .He took the high road, and it is even more evident
if you compare it to Palin's video released today!

Talk about Presidential and. . . What's the contrary?

7. You took the words out of my mouth...
Thank you, Mr. President, for reminding us of what America's best values are: a sense of community and compassion for others.

8. Possibly his finest moment
That was really a moving and inspiring address.

Particularly the notion that we should all conduct ourselves in a way that honors young Christina Green's memory got to me.

It is indeed to shake off the cynicism and vitriol sometimes. I will remember these words in those times.

9. Yes
I also started tearing up when Rep. Gifford's husband hugged Mr. Hernandez.

Edited on Wed Jan-12-11 09:57 PM by slay
and i think his heart is in the right place. This isn't the time for me to re-state my problems with Obama and his decisions and actions as president, so I'll leave it at that. Excellent speech.
