So, I just thought I'd share some good news with DU. Today my university approved a living wage for all campus workers, which is a huge step forward considering that prior to this about half of the workers on campus were getting paid poverty level wages. Me and some friends of mine who work with the UCW, helped with activism and spreading awareness, granted I didn't do too much but attend rallies and answer general questions, but at least we got it passed. It's not a big thing, but at least its some progress.
