"I know you are, but what am I" and "two wrongs make a right" arguments by the right.
I spend a lot of time on a very right-wing, TeaParty type political forum.

Over the last 3-4 months, I have noticed a growing trend in their arguments.

They can not argue a single issue anymore, its almost embarrassing to be from the same country, or same species for that matter.

Every time I say something, they respond either..

"But 40 years ago, democrats were........."

or

"We aren't the ones using inflammatory rhetoric, you stupid libtard"

I am just curious if anyone else encounters these 2nd grade responses on a regular basis?

2. Just have to read the tens of thousands of comments linked to or below the original Yahoo! article
regarding the murderous shooting rampage that Loughner committed last week.

Exactly the very same as anyone will find within any other related threads on freeper-like and rightwing-based or created internet messageboards or forums.

3. You could use a little sarcasm on them.
I know you're not asking for advice, but...it might help to say "Oh, that tired old talking point again! How do you receive your talking points every day from the RNC, through the fillings in your teeth or voices in your head?" I would then, really, walk away...
