FBI/Police on scene, smoking materials, IED, waiting on Search Warrant to go in:
New Haven (CT) police have closed a section of Hubinger Street to investigate after finding "improvised explosives" on Thursday morning and the FBI is at the scene.

Police received a call reporting smoky materials at #17 Hubinger St. at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday and found what police are calling "improvised explosive devices."

Police have crime scene tape around the house and a pickup. The FBI is also on the scene. They are waiting for a search warrant signed by a judge to allow them to go into the house.

The road, which is a block away from Edgewood Park, is closed between W. Parks Avenue and Elm Street.

More information will be posted once it becomes available.

1. that is bullshit.. if they believe there are "explosives"
in there, they do not need a search warrant, it is a public safety issue
