If Hank Jr can be dumped from ESPN
then surely Limbaugh and Hannity can be dumped from our Public airways.

It's pretty easy to see. Hank Jr, isn't the "extreme fringe"...he IS the current Republican Party. He represents their politics, is promoted and propped up at their events, and courted for appearances by their "leaders".

There is about a much space between Hank Williams Jr's and the Repuke Party, as there is between Rush and a male Dominican underage prostitute.

Hannity isn't on the public airways... he is on a private cable channel. FNC isn't a broadcast network.

edit: ooops never mind I forgot about radio

3. And for that matter, you have to pay EXTRA for ESPN--that's as private as it gets!
Fuck Hank Williams Jr. He's an untalented blowhard.

Wonder if he's ready for some foot up his ass?

4. LImbaugh's not on Fox
Hannity is, though he also has a radio show as well.

I don't think those people will ever get dumped simply because their radio shows do well. They do well in part because they are controversial.

5. I'm talking about our Public Radio Broadcast airways
that at one time actually provided an important "Public" service, but are now nothing but "in-kind" campaign contributions for the GOP.

8. Hank Jr. was dumped for one night only...
ESPN will bring him back, for the Next Football game. I think he should have been fired, personally.

9. Sports broadcasts have a history of dumping people that make stupid political or racist comments.
They are trying to draw from a huge fan base across races and cultures. Not just wingnuts.

11. Wrong. ESPN didn't want to appear to support a racist pig, but
Rush's bosses know full well they support a racist pig. They want it that way and count on other nuts listening in. it's their demo, not ESPN's.

13. Hank Jr was dumped by ESPN.
Hannity and/or Limbaugh can be dumped by the stations that air them. It's just up to the stations, tho.

14. Let's be clear. it's hank williams jr the THIRD.
Not Hank Williams Jr.

the third is a half baked simian of questionable intelligence and even more questionable talent.

he will never ever hold a candle to his father.
