They were correct in doing so and should be praised for it.. The same holds true for Hank Williams Jr. except from what I can gather he is just going to sit out this one game.....He should be canned just as Rush was..IMO I do not believe a one game suspension from airing his intro song is adequate.. Fire his ass completely and be done with it....

1. Corps like ESPN always stick their toe in the pool of public opinion first

to test the tempurature of viewer outrage. If people continue to demand his ouster from the intro track perhaps they'll enlist Ted Nugent. LOL

5. Actually, you may be onto something.

I mean really. Other than her gender issues that may polarize some for no good reason, she has great appeal and presence. She's got the upbeat enthusiasm that pumps up a crowd for a lively game of faked injuries and drawn out replay analysis.

She beats the hell out of a right wing redneck homophobe who sees a Hitler mustache on everyone who doesn't agree with him.

6. Rush Limbaugh added nothing to the broadcast and was

annoying to the professionals in the main booth. His ability to interject his ignorance into the banter detracted from the already questionable quality of the broadcast. The big guys saw their chance to can him and took advantage of the opportunity.

But of course I cannot stand him as a political commentator. I believe his whole personality on air is just a scam. I've met many people in south Florida who have met him and claim he is nothing like what you would expect. He just exploits his listeners on the radio for massive amounts of money. I mean, if he really were like what he sounds like on the radio, do you think he and Elton John would be friends?
