Anyone watch Homeland on HBO? Spotted Lawrence O Donell in an acting role.. |
|
on the upcoming trailer next week...He's either playing himself or a reporter interviewing the American POW
Homeland - It's a political thriller that tells the story of an American POW who is rescued from the Middle East ... but who is suspected by a CIA officer to have been 'turned' while in captivity

3. I'm really psyched to see it, not only because Lawrence is in it, |

My nephew's wife was an extra when they were filming in Charlotte. She played an injured victim of a mass attack.

4. What do you think of this show? |
|
I recorded the first one because I was falling asleep. My husband watched it and he did not like it, thought it was supportive of all the wrong things. I don't know how much attention he payed to it though. Just wondering, I intend to watch it one of these days and then catch up if I like it. Cast is interesting.

6. My father and I have been wondering about it... |

Haven't watched it--at least I haven't, and if he has he hasn't mentioned it yet. The premise sounds like utter tripe, and Showtime's last attempt at an original series based on terrorism was, to put it bluntly, a great steaming pile of bullshit. But at the same time, it has a cast some of whom I have a lot of respect for, and who I wouldn't expect to see in something that was really just a propaganda piece.

9. My husband said it was |
|
adolescent, salacious with soft core porn and presented a pure neocon view of terrorism. What I figured was that it starts there and then moves on to a more realistic view of things but who knows? That was just his opinion, he left it on the DVR so I could make up my own mind. I just have not had time and was happy to see someone talking about it here. We do not agree much of the time so.....

and it's really good. Of course having Dexter as a lead-in helps.
