Cain is a conservative Republican, why would Al Sharpton support a conservative Republican?

10. perhaps someone was bugging Sharpton |
|
and asked him if he would consider voting for Cain,, because, ya know, he's Black! and all black people are brainwashed. Or, don't y'all stick together and vote for the brother?
Most likely some stupid ass comment along these lines prompted what Sharpton said.

9. This at least has the benefit of not being gibberish. |
|
Indefensible on other grounds, perhaps.

3. Surely he would support the candidate whose policies he liked the most, regardless of color? |
|
Wouldn't any other approach be racist?

4. He may do a smidge better with black voters agianst Obama than a white Republican |
|
As in 20% for Cain, and a white Republican would get about 5%.
BUT, that will be offset by white racists who stay home and cannot bear to choose between two black candidates. That white racist vote is a vote that GOPers need every election cycle.

6. Trump could get that vote(white 'pugs who couldn't stand voting 4 Cain) if he went third-party. |
