Does Rick Perry really think he's entitled to the presidency
Edited on Fri Oct-21-11 08:18 AM by MoonRiver
simply because he's another ignorant, blustering Texan with an obnoxious drawl? As he has zero in the areas of policy, smarts and debate skills, I'm starting to think that's this pony's one trick. :eyes:

15. I wonder if he thinks Isral or those jews?
They really need to be called out on their ulterior motive for supporting Israel. They could care less what happens to Israel as long as they get their christian heritage.

5. I'm not too sure on that 'ambishun' thingie
I got the impression that WhistleAss would have preferred nothing more challenging than fucking-up a baseball team and drinking himself stupid every evening, but his family's evil enterprise demanded that he take the reins of power long enough for furthering their nefarious aims. Mission accomplished!

11. He's very provincial and doesn't know how limited he is. Given his success in Texas politics...
his alliances with rich and powerful people, etc., he thinks he's a hot, and qualified, candidate for the Presidency. His view of the world is limited to one mindset, and by little knowledge.

12. In a word?
Yes, he feels entitled to be President. He's been "called" after all.

But *I* don't feel he's entitled to be President, and I sure hope there are enough out here like me who will make damn sure that he ISN'T! He has destroyed my precious Texas. I would hate to see him let loose on the nation.

13. Perry 2012
Maybe he can do it if he can get help from Ralph Nader and dissident Democrats, who can divide the left. 2000 pt 2

18. Once again for the sake of facts
The election in 2000 was stolen. And the Supreme Court selected Bush.

That election wasn't lost by Gore. Nader didn't make Gore lose. It was stolen. That's a documented fact. Gore won the election. That's a documented fact.

19. election 2000
If Nader hadn't run his campaign of lies, Bush and CO wouldn't have been able to steal it. If 20000 voters in NH hadn't voted for Nader, Gore would not have needed FL.

20. Not true
Gore won the election no matter what anyone says. The Supreme Court stopped the recount which would have proven that he won and went one step further. It selected Bush as the winner.

It's also quite possible and probable that there were other states where the same thing happened but no one paid attention. For example, why does anyone believe that Gore lost in his own state? Why would that have happened? Because they don't like him? Yeah, sure.

21. 2000
The point is: if progressivs are divided the Republicans win, even if they have to steal the election. What positive results did Nader's candidacy have?
