Max Adler, who plays Glee’s closeted bully Dave Karoskfy, encourages students to get involved in the arts as an alternative to bullying their classmates, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Earlier this week, the actor launched “Max’s A-B-C Initiative – Anti-Bullying Through City Hearts,” at Foster Elementary School in Compton, Calif. Visiting the school Tuesday, Adler encouraged students to get involved in some form of the arts, whether acting, dance, literature, or photography as an alternative to bullying their classmates.

City Hearts: Kids Say Yes to the Arts, was founded in 1985 by juvenile public defenders Bob and Sherry Jason in 1985 and has provided arts-related classes to more than 30,000 kids.
