OCCUPY the Internet
The Occupy Movement is just as much an online community as it is tents in parks and intentional communities across the country and the world. Here is a "Thanks" to those on DU who are keeping this strange and wonderful thing going through information sharing online across the globe. Thank you.

2. I share a lot of things I see here on Spybook.
So far, 1 person has pulled their money out of Chase and put it into a credit union.

That's worth the effort.

4. That group of churches that pulled 3+ million out of Wells Fargo
and is now working on BofA is right here in San Jose. I wouldn't have even known about them but for the story that was written as a local color piece about OWS.

3. It's been fun watching different camps develop

even from a distance. Chicago was bullied relentlessly by the cops the first day or so and they're very strong. San Francisco went through some kind of identity crisis but seems to be working it out just fine. San Jose keeps getting tossed out and they keep setting back up again. Oakland has a ten foot attitude, they're great. And now it looks like other groups are trusting the process enough to come out and to commit. It's a beautiful thing.
