The safety of about one-third of food additives in the US food supply has been decided by industry, without review by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), claims a new report.

1. People can get sarcastic

about news health reports that say certain products cause health problems. But if they knew how inadequately everything has been tested they would understand. Of about 80,000 chemicals in commercial use, only about 300 have been adequately tested - some not at all.
Cosmetics and personal care products are not safety tested either.

Actually - EPA depends on the manufacturers to test their own chemical products too.

Disgusting - no wonder there is a health crisis. Too many people are sick.

Yeah this is scary.

People don't even know if what they are ingesting and feeding their kids is safe, and apparently neither does the FDA.
