Almost every day, my email has one or more actions by CREDO, et al to sign on to. |
Sometimes they respond with good news: that our petitions are working. But I still wonder how effective these online petitions are for bringing change.

1. My sister was one of the people that got captioning on TV - through petitions and letters |
She and others did only that. Petitions and letters explaining that her son was deaf, etc. Enough prodding made all the difference in the world.

5. It is good to know. Letters and petitions are a form of protest... |
But it's not as effective as being live! Look at the non-stop press the media is forced into giving OWS because they are live and spreading!

6. I know! So all those libs who cannot get out there and protest live... |
Can certainly do so from their homes, via letters, faxes, e-mails, phone calls. Hound them to death and they'll have to react. However, nothing is as effective as going live, as OWS is doing! I am so impressed by OWS!

3. Credo. Meh. I use their service, and they bill like any other cell company. |
If they were really progressive, their billing and service would reflect that.
