Went off on a Neocon on Facebook Today. |
|
Some 20 something posting a Hitler/OWS comparison graphic said food stamps were a kind of "slavery" because they "taught people dependence instead of giving them intiative." I responded that if he thought that feeding children and expectant mothers was equal to slavery, he should get a vasectomy immediately.
I should have told him to apologize to his mother, the ungrateful little prick.

2. People pretending fascism is a left wing thing are idiots. Try |
|
showing them some of what people that call themselves Nazi's in this country believe. There is literally nohting you can find that doesn't show them as right-wing nut jobs.

10. I interact with some "Libertarian" types. I hear that one a lot. |
|
IMO their beliefs (some religious, some not) are beyond conscious reason.
Today, one of them told me that evolution was not a science, because it was not experimental. I raised an eyebrow, and he said, "You can't put an animal in a beaker!"
After a pause, I said, "You can't? -- ?"
After a longer pause he said, "Well, you got me there." I was surprised, as this is very rare with "true believers."
This fellow has a biology degree -- but I think it's from a Bible college. LOL.

9. I guess Jesus was trying to enslave people, then, |
|
when he fed the poor and encouraged his followers to help the needy.
It amazes me that people buy into this inside-out, twisted logic.
