Is it possible that the Koch brothers are vegetarian environmentalists? |
|
For example, consider vegetarianism.
If you believe that: #1. Beef comes from cows
and you believe that: #2. Cows aren't plants
and you eat beef, then you won't consider yourself to be a vegetarian.
However, some people are more skeptical. They don't see Venus Flytraps growing like dandelions near their homes, but they know that Venus Flytraps exist. If a plant can eat a fly, then why can't a plant eat a blade of grass? Local cows say "moo", and appear to be animals, but does that justify a theory of global mooing?

3. Having grown up summering on a farm I can see how one might mistake ruminants for plants. |
|
Seeing as they don't do a damned thing. However plants don't f**k, there has never been proof of any plant reproducing by this means...sheep and cows f**k and thus we can know they're not plants.
They're ruminants and thus they're about as active and intelligent as dirt...but they're definitely mammals nevertheless.
