The Oregonian, once a great newspaper and now just a bunch of Libertarian derp, brings you the following wisdom about Occupy Portland:
Four weeks after Occupy Portland planted itself in the heart of downtown, forces are colliding inside and outside the camp.
The most significant is Occupy's effort to spread its general message of political and economic fairness while providing food, shelter and sanitation for its downtown occupation encampment, where an undetermined number of residents are chronically homeless, physically ill, mentally ill or abusing illegal drugs and alcohol.
The inaugural Occupy Portland march Oct. 6 ended at Chapman and Lownsdale squares, and about 500 people have been living in the two full city blocks. Through the Internet, talk radio, livestreaming and daily discussions, the movement has engaged the city in high-flown abstractions but also in the nitty-gritty of managing the commune it established, including bathrooms and rats.
The city's elected government walks day by day on a fine line to protect government property and personnel while creating space for free speech on a spectrum of political causes that fall under the sound-bite umbrella of "We Are the 99 Percent."

I've lived in the Portland area 56 years. This idiot publisher and his minions and their nice offices are within sight of Occupy Portland.
Here's how they choose to deal with it.
:grr:
*sigh*
