15. For some reason, Business Insider included pictures of the Black Bloc idiots in Oakland
breaking glass with the Goldman Sachs in New York pictures.

Funny that, eh?

6. They are not part of OWS. Talk to the police or whoever
they are. Provocateurs who are trying to undermine the peaceful movement. But most people know that. And you're right, there IS no need for 'that shit'. So why do they do it? What are they afraid of?

16. I think that one might be from Oakland yesterday
Edited on Thu Nov-03-11 04:05 PM by starroute
It's a different size from all the other photos. The windows don't seem to match anything in the other photos. The people in it have bare arms (it was warm in Oakland yesterday) where the Goldman Sachs protesters are wearing hoodies or coats. And the caption says "in case you missed it" -- implying that it was an earlier event.

Still no need for that shit -- but the OWS people in New York seem to have been very good about preventing property destruction, so they shouldn't be tarred with it if it occurred somewhere else.

On edit: Yes, definitely Oakland. Here the same photo is posted at Associated Press. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/photos/1/1f9c9ef2-2238-4e4d-a4a6-cef439618df9.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

2. I wonder what goes through their heads as they stare. it is indifference,
surely it's not guilt because sociopaths don't feel guilt, or is it fear?

17. I have a troll friend on facebook
(old family friend, can't unfriend for family political reasons) who posts things like "Imagine how terrified those G-S employees must be!" on my page. Oh yeah. I'm sure they're scared shitless... that their greed might have unwelcome consequences. Welcome to the real world, Assholes. :grr:

9. At this point...it's probably more curiosity...but who knows later on.
One would hope that some of them understand although others will be stand offs.

14. They're thinking; "I try to offer the public unique investment opportunities through
'creative financial instruments', and THIS is the thanks I get?"

:nopity:

11. Heh heh
Finance professionals going to lunch encountered the protesters. We saw one say "Oh sh%#!" and do an about-face.
