I've only met two DUers in person - SalmonChantedEvening (at my HS reunion!), and MissyVixen (aka JulieRB, who I have visited with in Seattle).

But after all these years there are a few folks I haven't met but feel are friends nonetheless - starting with you (who was kind enough to talk to me on the phone during a vacation in LA), GalleryGod, abq estreeter, BerthaVenation, LynneSin, Quakerfriend, and, sadly, Redstone.

Sounds like he was a great addition to DU. I'm sure he's now in heaven working hard to help all us still on earth, especially in the the country called the US of A.

his photos and how sorry I was going to be to not see any of them again - it is really nice to see his face; somehow it helps say goodbye.

He left us way too soon. I hope his wife and sons are coping. It seems like his death was unexpected - I know he was in continual pain, but didn't know or think he was in imminent danger.
