What happened to all those highfalutin republican "family values"
Gropers, molesters, whore mongers, preachers who snort methamphetamine and hire male prostitutes with the cash their flock pays them, groups of men who spend money that the believers donate in good faith, to go and party at bondage bars, senators who invade people's privacy in airport bathrooms, carry their dead baby around and make their kids sleep with it and speak with it, johns who wear dirty diapers and still get elected again and congressmen who sexually assault pages?

I don't think the GOP is as Jesus approved, as they advertise these days.

No wonder this country is in the shape it's in.

1. Value Voters Summit: Seven Lessons
7. Herman Cain can electrify a crowd.

Romney was smooth, Perry was folksy and Paul was plainspoken. Gingrich waxed historical, Santorum was serious and Bachmann assertive. None of them charged up the crowd like Cain.

He has been a mathematician, the CEO of Godfather's Pizza and a radio talk show host, but on Friday, Cain sounded most like another of his many professions: Baptist preacher.

Peppering his speech with acerbic humor, clipped cadences and sharp attacks on Obama, Cain drew the loudest laughter and most passionate applause from the overflow audience.

"It took me 12 years and the grace of God to figure out what my journey should be at this point in my life," Cain said. After a "lot of prayer, a lot of soul searching," he decided to run for president. Read More...

2. Schwarzenegger’s family values
When former California governor/”Kindergarten Cop” star Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, announced their separation last week after 25 years of marriage, the public speculation machine went into overdrive. And sure enough, on Monday, Schwarzenegger confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that he had fathered a child with a member of his household staff.

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” Schwarzenegger said to the paper. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.” Read More

3. Republican Family Values: Rep. Joe Walsh Sued By Ex-Wife For Child Support
Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh brags about how he’s trying to ” fight this president and fight the Democrats” on fiscal issues . Yet, he owes $117,437 in child support to his ex-wife and three children. Walsh claims he failed to make the payments because he had “no money.” Asked by CNN about this, he says makes him just like an average American. Read More...

4. Right to life...
I think you little kids have a right to a better life than you've given them so far Mr. Walsh.
