Every single repub Governor is saying they aren't creating jobs because their state is not competitive with other states. How can this be? If every state isn't competitive, what are they using for the base state that they have to compete with?
I know this is just an excuse to try for the lowest wages and least regulations, but it's time we call them on that. Ask them who it is they are competing with and just how low do the wages have to go in their opinion to be competitive and just how dirty do we have to allow our air, water and land to be?

1. Oh yes, always press for details, hammer away about details, and watch them squirm. |

2. They want to be able to provide more tax breaks, freebies |

and incentives. For the past 15 years or so states have been luring out of state businesses to their state by throwing money at them aka bribing them to set up shop and hire locals without having to be burdened by providing benefits, deal with unions or adhere to too many regulations. It was the "in" thing to do.
They aren't really competing with other states as much as China. That's how dirty our air and water needs to be. That's how low wages need to go in the minds of republicans.
