Republicans: Job, Economic Growth The Result Of GOP Victories
Top Republicans are claiming credit for a variety of metrics showing that the economy is improving. Expect this meme to snowball, particularly as Democrats have done little, so far, to stop it. On Fox News today, House Rules Committee Chair David Dreier (R-CA) contended the GOP deserves all the credit for recent economic growth.

"e can get our economy growing. And we've gotten some positive numbers. I think it's in large part because we won our majority and we're pursuing pro-growth policies," he said.

3. David Dreier is a bastard who praised the phenomenon of offshore outsourcing
http://www.votesmart.org/speech_detail.php?sc_id=197717&keyword=&phrase=&contain=

He did so during a time when white and blue collar workers were losing their jobs by the hundreds of thousands.

So, yeah, this little lemming can eat a dick straight up.

5. It's along the same lines as "the country went all t'HELL once Demmycraps took Cangress!"

Which, of course, was ALSO a damned dirty LIE. This, and that assweasel Dreier, are committing the logical fallacy known as post hoc ergo propter hoc (or after the fact, therefore because of the fact).

6. Remember this folks. Every single bit of bad news until 2012 now belongs to the (R)s.
We must not let them have it both ways.

8. Repeat after me: It was Conservative Economic Funda, mentalism
AKA , FREE MARKET PRINCIPLES, that brought this country
down. Does anyone believe these same principles are
going to dig us out????????? This goes for both
Republicans and Democrats who cling to the Republican
KOOL AID JUG---Let the market work its will. The
Market if left alone will "right" itself. Oh yes,
"the invisible hand" will cure all ills.

Never forget, it was removal of practically all
regulations of the Market including Glass-Steagall
that gave Wall Street the freedom to practically
destroy this country. This must be kept front and
center.

I fear we are heading for a repeat performance.

I think it is important to remember, because when they claim credit in 2012 it will seem more plausible. It is important to take note that they also claimed credit in January, and that the economy already was improving in January when it clearly has nothing to do with their supposed 'pro growth' policies. http://journals.democraticunderground.com/hfojvt/136

11. and right after they won ...
gas shot up to $3 a gallon ... you never hear that from the M$M ...

Or the fact that the DOW pretty much stalled, for quite a while, from its rise throughout Obama's term so far ...
