8. Yea
But it's baggage that has been sitting out there, airing for decades now.

And we all know republicans really don't care if you have an affair, or harass women, or do pretty damn much anything, as long as you town their nefarious party line positions, and hold their Fascist front.

6. It's unfortunate that nobody has really understood the Tiffany's thing

This notion that he was buying expensive jewelry is not the story here.

He had a line of credit, but there is no indication that he used it to purchase anything.

IMHO, the real story is that the line of credit was used as a paper liability to offset other assets.

But people are too distracted with shiny objects to get to the bottom of what the credit line was really about.

7. If Blingrich makes it to the GE, I think that scab will get picked.
I agree, there's something there that's not right. There were posts here about possible connections to legislation that may have benefited Tiffany's that Newt's wife was involved in when she was a legislative staffer...a little influence peddling, perhaps?

Romney should be the one getting scrutinized in the media. He's the only one who stands a chance against Obama in a general election. He's already unpopular with the Tea Party. Having his transgressions in the world of investment widely known would destroy him politically while he's down. With Romney eliminated, Obama would beat any other Republican contender in a walk.

That is a pretty funny statement, however, about the baggage.
