Does the OWS embarrass Obama and the government? |
|
Do you think some people are against it because of this, that they think it is reflecting badly on Obama and the US government?
I don't think it does myself, but I can see why some might think it looks that way. And if these reports are accurate about the federal officials being involved in dismantling the protests, maybe some in power believe this way too.

2. No, I don't think it reflects badly on the president |
|
or the government. I think people are more against ows because they don't have a clear message or plan to achieve their goals.

7. The only people using that false reason are the far right. |
|
Are you seriously saying this movement has 'no clear message'? Or are you just informing us of what the enemies of this movement, iow, Fox et al, are claiming? I can't tell from your comment.
Because this movement, just fyi in case you are serious, has the support of 60% of the American people, which would seem to say that a majority of the people DO get the message.
If you are serious, and not just telling us what Fox and Friends and their rightwing Noise machine are saying, then I'll be happy to tell you. It's a really simple message actually.

4. are you talking about a "law and order" thing? |
|
like, the government is embarrassed because they're letting kids run wild in the streets?
Or do you mean they're embarrassed because the protesters are saying bad things about all their donors?

8. People are getting the portrayal of the worst aspects of the movement |
|
people defecating on streets, rabid stories of disease, rapes, shootings, etc. The media is playing up the worst parts of the movement and there are always bad apples in every basket. Unfortunately, the salacious news is more tempting and the only portrayal people receive. It is what it is, and it will continue. Coming into the election cycle, the Dems are retreating from the movement and the Administration is backing away it seems. sigh.

9. I hope it does embarrass and shame them. |

They are the problem, and they are going in circles trying to avoid fixing the problem.
