Personal email: Dorli Rainey taken to hospital
A mutual friend has emailed me this evening to spread the word that Dorli was taken to Virginia Mason hospital today with "something in her lungs" after addressing Occupy Seattle. He didn't know her status.

2. Yup
and that stuff can lead to trouble 24-72 hours later, such as inflammation of the lungs.

It's a normal response but in the elderly, or asthmatic it could be trouble.

For the record it is pure capsein

10. I hope that she is alright. 84 is after all 84.

My mum is 81 and hale, but I wouldn't want her being hit with that agent.

The police should be more than ashamed. They should be afraid.

4. Yes - I hope she's OK
I saw her first interview with Keith the other day and then what I think was a second interview Friday night. She did not look or seem as lively in the second interview and I was a little concerned about her.

is well but having nursed two parents that age to their ends, this is not a good thing. God bless and keep her warrior heart going. What a fucked up thing this is if she is a casualty of this movement? WHERE THE HELL IS THE PRESIDENT!?

16. He took the Clueless Train to Somebody Else's Problem town.
I don't think his campaign realizes, quite yet, that his invisibility on this issue could kill his chances of re-election. Realistically, the job situation isn't going to improve significantly in the next year. The best he can do on that front is actively look like he gives a damn about the plight of the 99%. So far, FAIL.

6. Just saw on KOMO, she said her lungs were still
hurting when she spoke at OWS today, and was planning to go to the ER at Virginia Mason after she was done speaking.

Hope she's going to be ok.

11. sad news, I sure hope she is ok
what a shame if we lost her strong inspiring spirit, especially if our overzealous police are responsible.

12. SUE!!
And if (God forbid) she dies from her injuries, I think charges of murder would be appropriate.

15. She is such a trooper.
So sorry to hear this news but it's not surprising.

Police should be held accountable for this senseless brutality.

18. What a heroine this woman has been throughout her life! She told Keith O she grew up in Germany.
What a life and what a truly marvelous outlook she has! Blessings to her and let's hope she is going to pull out of this soon!
