The perfect comeback to Frank Miller's anti-OWS rant.
Frank Miller is now a washed up talentless hack, but at one time he revitalized Batman with his 1986 classic "The Dark Knight Returns" followed by "Batman:Year One". His directorial debut, an adaptation of Will Eisner's "The Spirit" was D.O.A. at the box office. Recently in his blog he decribed the OWS movement as "nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists." "These clowns can do nothing but harm America." "This is no popular uprising. This is garbage. And goodness knows they’re spewing their garbage – both politically and physically – every which way they can find."

"In the name of decency, go home to your parents, you losers. Go back to your mommas’ basements and play with your Lords Of Warcraft," he continued after identifying organizations such as Al Qaeda as an "enemy of mine" but not of Occupy supporters. "Or better yet, enlist for the real thing. Maybe our military could whip some of you into shape."

What a difference 20 years makes. In "Batman: Year One" he included this scene of a dinner party with the wealthy and corrupt of Gotham City:

The scene and pretty much the entire mini series was recreated verbatim for the recent animated film from Warner Bros.

After Miller's temper tantrum many of the comic book industry's professionals responded, condeming Miller's ingorant words.

One of the best replies came from Richard Pace's blog: http://burningmonster.blogspot.com/2011/11/miller-time-out.html

1. "The Dark Knight Returns" was like a very pleasant kick in the head.

Copies were sent to the college radio station I was currently at, with a note that it's not a comic book, it's more, give it a try...and we took turns taking it out from the station each night. Eagerly awaiting our next turn to try to read them in a single sitting, over and over. Chills. Wonderful. Beautiful.

Now this crap.

The gap is widening. It's becoming more and more clear who is on the right side of history...and who is not.

2. Did you read the sequel "The Dark Knight Strikes Back"?
Absolutely horrid. I had to force myself to finish it. I shouldn't have. His art anymore looks like he draws with a pencil jammed up his ass. But then I remember that there's no room for a pencil with his head already up there.

3. I liked all four books but not equally. I was 23 and to quote Pink Floyd,
"...I was pretty drunk at the time..."

5. But even in that one
It seemed that Miller was coming down mostly on the good side what with at the end while the administration attempts to deal with the fall-out from the latest foray against them by Batman and his allies, Flash is running from press conference to press conference giving what looks like Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, and others bunny ears.
