18. It's what I'm doing
i can't in good conscience vote for Obama again - he has let us down in a monumental way - so I will indeed be writing in Bernie Sanders. Too bad he won't run.

36. Indeed.
I'll be writing in whichever candidate (Bernie Sanders, Alan Grayson, Dennis Kucinich?) gets the endorsement of the #Occupy movement and the 60% of this population that supports this movement.

37. Gotta Love Bernie.
I'd be surprised (and disappointed) if #Occupy endorsed anyone, although I love Bernie and usually find myself nodding vigorously whenever I hear him speak. Same goes for Grayson and Kucinich.

I'll be damned if I'll vote for someone who has nothing but contempt for me. Someone who bailed out the banks, continued the Bush tax cuts and... what Sen. Sanders just said.

Edited on Mon Nov-21-11 06:15 AM by Enthusiast
Not after his betrayal of the multitudes for personal gain or ideology. Whatever his reasoning. Any reasonable person (I thought Obama was reasonable) should have concluded that our trajectory of endless war, deregulation and outsourcing is a horrible mistake.

It is a shame on our government that a truth-teller like Bernie is in the tiny minority of Congressional ranks.

K&R times a googol.

...Can Obama win against Romney? Either way with Obama or Romney we will have to fight to save Social Security and medicare>

11. Let's start an incentive program....
Every time this guy speaks he is right-t-f-on!

We need to recommend him for a commendation....

Let's award him a million dollars!

We can start an incentive program that will get the others
to work for the reward by actually doing the job we elected them to do!!

"WE THE PEOPLE" can buy the majority of congress and it will
only cost us $200 million - or - let's just buy the senate for half that!

61. That would unite the Dems but unfortunately we'd lose the election.
We still need the center left,...you know...Blue Dog types and Independents.
As distressing as it is...they could no more get elected than Dennis K.
No more electable than a wild eyed Conservative like Michele B. who can't even win over the conservatives. Sorry, this is a fact! But, how I'd love to see that ticket...but I must be realistic.

64. Not true we dont have to have Republican lites running as
a Democrat to win...If a Democrat runs center or a Republican runs center what the hell is a differnce?..A real progressive can win in this country and I disagree that a Democrat must be a Republican with a D in front of his name in order to win..We have that now and as Truman said when a Democrat acts like a Republican the Democrat will lose every time and as bad I hate to see it looks like that is what will happen in 2012 'cause Democrats will stay home.

is so damned hard to find these days, we find it absolutely amazing when we hear it.

My TN rep - a Norquist purchase - and Senators couldn't care LESS about the elderly, the sick, the children, or the poor.

All they care about is kissing corporate ass. It's so depressing.

Where are the rest of the decent politicians in America? When do the greedy wake up and care about the people?

Hey, Bernie: :yourock:
