Sen Barrasso (R-WY): OWS is full flowering of anti-capitalist sentiment in this country
Obama's language succeeded in further demonizing Wall Street and stoking anti-capitalist sentiment in the country, which has found its full flowering in the Occupy Wall Street protests.

But the fact is that the banks — most of which were mere victims of the financial meltdown — have paid back almost all the money they got from taxpayers. The much-ballyhooed $700 billion TARP program will likely end up costing taxpayers as little as $19 billion when all is said and done.

2. I don't think most people care about lables, i.e. anti-capitalist.
They care about fair play/honesty, getting their share with a serving of integrity.

3. Oh, no, Senator. This is just the beginning. The full flowering will be when
the 1% and their quisling enablers are in prison for life.

5. Blah Blah Blah.. this is not "anti-capitolist" it's anti-criminal
and anti-corruption. Senator Barrasso ought to look in the fucking mirror before he goes out spewing his bullshit. If you are a Senator or a Congressman, odds are 99 to 1 that you are a corrupt piece of shit who makes a living screaming about how awful the government is while you are in control of it.

13. Well Senators and Congressman are not anti-criminal
and they are not anti-corruption. If they were there would be no illegal doings on Capitol Hill now would there.

Also your average crook is not anti-criminal. So there's that.

Jobs, income inequality, corruption, OWS is about all of that and more. It encompasses everything the people feel powerless to do anything about. Sorry if you can't figure that out.

12. I want to know what currency was used to repay the bail-outs.
Was it securitized mortgages? What did the US receive?

And where did the money come from?

Was it from the Fed? Did the bail-out recipients simply borrow money from the Fed to "repay" the taxpayers?

I want more details than what I have heard.

14. Nope. A good portion of the 99% like mixed markets. And that includes capitalism.
Try again to divide. Good luck!

15. I'm not anti-capitalist
I am anti-any economic system that concentrates wealth and power in the hands of a few, distorts democracy, exploits and impoverishes millions, misuses natural resources, and pollutes the environment.
