There are many levels of personal organization, all of which have one thing in common. From the family to the Political Party individuals join together for their common good and for the most part that "common good" isn't much more than just sticking together to shield one-another from predation. It is the only legitimate function of Government, it is the most important function of the family. There is no lie in the line "No man is an island".
Our families have deteriorated and our Government does little to nothing to protect us from predators. Little to nothing. Unions work to protect us, and they have traditionally been successful, that is why they have been the target of an unrelenting campaign aimed directly their elimination.
Make no mistake about it at all - our Government has utterly failed at its one real purpose, to protect its citizens from predators. In fact our Government, the big one that houses itself in Washington, DC, has been so deeply corrupted that it has become the mechanism by which the worst of the predators kick you down. It is the police, not the Tea Party, that is kicking in heads and spraying protestors across the country. It is the DHS that is using its multi-billion-dollar technologies against you and it is you who is paying for it, and it is your grandchildren who will pay for it. We have created the monster that is eating us.
If you do not think there is a civil war going on inside of this country right this minute you are either blind or just too god damned stupid to see it. They have all the guns and we have all the blood to bleed out in the streets. And it is we who have armed them, and it is we who continue to support them, the tools of the very predators who see you as nothing but an easy mark. And if you raise up one finger to try to protect yourself they will cut off your hand. If you say one word to point out the simple fact that we work hard to enrich the very same people who manipulate our most basic needs toward our own destruction you will disappear from the face of relevancy so fast you dog won't be able to figure out what happened to you. There is no fixing of this situation, it has gone far to far. There is nothing that can be done now but to tear it down, to build anew. When an armed force attacks your brother in the street you had better recognize it for what it is - war on the common man - or you had better be ready to admit defeat, sit down, shut up, and thank your fucking masters for whatever crumbs they throw to you.
Compromise, bipartisan solutions. Do you know what those words mean? They mean you have lost the war, that is what they mean. You can not deal with Lion or a vulture. You have to kill the predator, you have to starve the carrion-eater to death. If you can't do that you're dead meat.
Rant over. But by god there will be more of them. I will not take it anymore - not one god damned second of it.
