Think about what's wrong about "journalism" and what we've been complaining about for a couple of decades:

* "They" never investigate. "They" never ask follow-ups. "They" kiss ass.



* So here is one Bah-bwah WALTERS, who single-handledly destroyed "journalism" - Bah-bwah, the ultimate suck-ass.

* and Geraldo, who "confronted" the murderous a-hole MANSON with "outrage" instead of journalism.



And here was little Bob COSTAS minding his own business and being presented by an opportunity to interview somebody and he DID!1

He was totally kewl & collected and let the a-hole HANG HIMSELF. Thank you, Mr COSTAS.

2. I'll recommend this heartily and I'll tell you why

I don't know if something new happened, I just signed on to the world after signing off from it for a few hours. I saw the Costas Sandusy interview a few days ago, and it was a magnificent unflinching probing with great results.

I know NOTHING about sports, I happen to be an artist. But I have known about and been impressed with Bob Costas for a really long time, whereas I had never heard of Sandusky (sp?)

Costas has always been a true professional, very thorough in his preparation and smooth and engaging in his presentation. I still look forward to the day when he's doing MLB games again (especially the World Series), if the Fox contract *ever* ends. He did an outstanding job with the Sandusky interview, and it was one of the highlights of Bob's stellar career.
