"Liberty Walk" (remix shows worldwide #Occupy pics in support of the movement)

To celebrate her 19th birthday, Miley Cyrus released a viral music video for her song "It's a Liberty Walk". Instead of dropping a party- or love-themed music video like she usually does, the former "Hannah Montana" star filled the new clip with montage of Occupy protesters from around the world.

"This is Dedicated to the thousands of people who are standing up for what they believe in," so wrote the daughter of country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus. While fast-paced footage of demonstrators flashes on the screen, she sings,
"It's a liberty walk, walk. Say goodbye to the people who tied you up...Free yourself, slam the door, not a prisoner anymore."

Well, she'll be raked over the coals by some for not sticking to fluff. Others will say it's just a marketing move. Smacked from all sides I'll bet.

I say 'Good on her!.'
She didn't have to make this gesture. She has never cared what people thought, and she got that attitude from her godmother, Dolly Parton.
She has stood stood up for #Occupy and a lot of others haven't.
