I can't think of any other day that brings out the worst aspects of out culture.

1. It is basically our culture summed up in one day
The "richness" of our culture on display, how proud we must be.

3. I appear to be the only one in my extended family not out shopping today.
Most of my friends as well.

Just checked Facebook. They have been having conversations all night long while waiting in line. Even the ones I thought had more sense.

Good grief. National Insanity Day.

4. I had never gone before last night.
I took a friend out who wanted to go, that cannot drive. So, for my first time, I have to say, it was WAS AWFUL!!

I was pushed, poked, interrupted, shoved, etc. all night long. On the ride home, I told my friend that the next soccer mom who shoved me was going to get form tackled right there by the women's coats!

6. I hope you meant it as an amusing ironic reaction to your experience of getting
form tackled while you were there!

7. I can't even remember when Black Friday started.
And what does the "black" in Black Friday mean anyway?

8. It means the retailers have gone from red to black.
In that now they have positive income for the year instead of negative. It takes almost 11 months out of 12 for the retailers to finally get back to black.
