7. Reading Time in the dentists' over the summer:
In an article about the radioactive events in Fukushima, Time Magazine let its readers know that there "simply is not any data to explain to us what can happen to people exposed to radiation due to a nuclear reactor and this type of situation..."

Ah, gee. Too bad there was no research done on the civilian population of Hiroshima or Nagasaki, after we let loose with our A bombs on those cities. <Sarcasm intended.>

No data from Chernobyl. (Except for the Universities of several Eastern European cities.)

It could have been worse. Time could have claimed that thinking positive thoughts mitigates any harm is done by cesium and other radioactive particles once breathed into the body.
