non lethal weapons being fired at occupy LA
Was watching ustream "Freedoms" coverage. Just now cops shot rubber bullets/bean bags at protesters hiding in tree house. One was just carried out on stretcher.

All the Police had to do was wait until the had to pee and it would have been resolved peacefully.

But compared to the brutal thuggery in NYC and Oakland, the LAPD seemed to be taking a much softer approach, and thankfully, far less folks were hurt. Doesn't change the fact that these Americans are being denied their first amendment rights.
