1. On top of that
Public sector wages moved anywhere for 4 or 5 years.

The state of Idaho signs my pay check. We'e hav'nt had a cost of living adjustment since 2005.

6. This rape of the middle class is global
wage freezes - several memoranda of understanding - reduced pensions and longer working years.
Time to Occupy the planet!!

2. Amazing, isn't it
They can freeze wages on all the lower income people, but won't hear of freezing wages for CEO's who make millions every year, and get huge bonus's. They can give tax breaks to the rich, along with subsidies and more tax breaks to big oil, cut corporate tax rates or even eliminate them all together, but are more than willing to cut programs that help those in need, take away subsidies that help people with heating and food.

Isn't it funny how they "say" they are listening to the people, but in reality it's only the "corporation people" and the rich they cater to!

5. +1000
No sacrifices whatsoever required for the wealthy in THIS country! They obsessively rant about corporations needing tax rates lower and lower in order for them to remain in business/profitable yet job growth remains slow and/or stagnant. WTF are these people doing with their tax savings that they had to have? Going by their logic, we should've had jobs coming out of all orifices since 2001 and 2003 when the Bush tax cuts and certainly now since they were extended. Where are the jobs????

3. My income has barely moved for years as a public employee here in Indiana
That, of course, hasn't stopped the costs of, well, anything, from going up. Certainly, even most Republicans have to understand (not that they would necessarily care even if they do) that you can't freeze people's pay indefinitely and then magically expect them to be able to keep paying their bills and putting food on their families when costs for everything seems to only go in one direction (hint: NOT down!). :eyes:

4. Frozen would be better than the way they move backwards...
what with the increase in health insurance costs, the furlough days, the pension cuts, etc.
