Ironically, last year, Olbermann said Comcast would make MSNBC more liberal
MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann tweeted on Friday that Comcast wants to make his network “more liberal” when it completes its merger with NBC Universal.

The $30 billion merger is currently under review at the Justice Department and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

“Yeah, they want to go more liberal,” Olbermann tweeted in response to a question about the merger.

6. Comcast has a lot of democrats at high levels.
But I am not surprised that Olbermann does not fit into their plans. My guess is that Comcast will bring in clear voices that deliver messages with an impact, not personalities. I have great hopes for MSNBC under Comcast, there is now a serious threat to Fox, with a moderate and liberal focus. Comcast has wanted a television medium for years, MSNBC will get funded properly now and we won't be seeing filler prison shows when news and opinion should be on.

Finally, let me take on some of the errors concerning Comcast and Verizon. Verizon is an enormous republican party contributor and has been for years, so is AT&T. Comcast has seriously deep democratic roots, with many of it's high level figures being democrats, or at least not hostile to democratic causes.

7. Not many people are sharing your point of view...
Your post is intriguing and gives me hope that Comcast will surprise us (pleasantly) with their version of MSNBC.
